As Tim Morton says you dont know what bad roads can do for a country until you ride Baja. There are a hand ful of paved roads in Baja and you can ride on those too. Imagine riding along the pacific coast with the waves crashing against the cliff your riding on or slaloming through pine trees like a down hill skier, because these are natural trails not cut,the corners are the trees!!!!Pull up to a shrimp taco stand in San Felipe before heading out for a dune ride!! Baja HAS IT ALL!

I rode Baja a lot as a kid. I remember one time I was on a borrowed bike, and didn't realize it had no spark arrestor. After cresting a hill, I looked back and everywhere I had been was on FIRE! Luckily, another rider was with me and between the two of us it took about an hour to put all the fires out. The surf is great too!
