come to eastern ky near breathitt after a good rain your sure to have some fun at th strip mines and its beautiful there too i counted 300 ponds in one day up there once.
if you want directions or someone to ride with i can help ya soon as i get my bike repaired. if you like to climb hills theres some very steep rail buggy hills my bike just flips when i try riding up.
oh forgot to tell you its always free and you can ride on the county rodes the cops here dont care as long as its not on the main stretch.
you wont get in trouble for riding these trails cause the mining companies lease the land and dont care wether you ride there or not as long as you dont go near there stuff and follow the signs (explosives stay back, underground mine ahead stay left, etc...) stop by some time bring your friends

Guys, eastern kentucky is working on getting thousands of miles of trails. As you already see in harlan kentucky were there is over 200 miles of marked trails, they want to connect many counties together to ride together. Knott county just opened up a honda training center with trail connected to it. Great riding there. here is a link

Live in MD but planning a trip to KY for thanksgiving. My parents moved to Grayson about a year ago and everytime I go out there I fall more and more in love with your state. Looking for places to kill a day or two in eastern Ky. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
