Watched them put up the tower for a TAG today. They started setting the column about 7 and have four sections up now. Think they have one more to put up then the head goes on. What a project. Costs about 3.5 Mil to erect one TAG.
Have a great evening.

How many years does it have to produce electricity before it pays for itself?</end quote></div>
A bigger question is how the residents of the State of Washington won't see most of what it generates since they are selling most of it to Southern California. [img][/img] Now if it was only the excess after SOW got our needs met first, I wouldn't have an issue with it, but we will likely see our rates reflect their capital investment and nothing for the profit it will eventually produce since there isn't any regulation to stop them from balancing it out properly. Just my two cents and I am stepping down off my soapbox now.</end quote></div>
I agree with your soapbox.
The majority of the population of this state are bamboozled into believing that with wind generated power we are burning less oil or coal for the power. This state is 100% hydro powered and all the windmills and cfl bulbs won't change that.
OK, so much for my soapbox.

That's like saying no one notices that I'm opinionated.
