NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread
haha to eatonville. we are moving over by silver lake, our landlord passed away and my step dad is struggling with his house payments, my mom was the money maker of the house. so we are helpin each other out.we wont be there for long just long enough for him to pay off a few things then we will be looking to buy again.
Good Evening PSAR!
Been a long and busy day. Putting in the last of the trees we got yesterday when the new posthole digger (treehole digger?) decided to start shooting gearcase lube out the exhaust. Lots of silver sparkle stuff in the lube so I suspect the seal and bearing between the engine and gearbox failed. Anyway, quick trip to Portland to where we bought it and we came home with a new one. All kinds of "we're sure sorry you had this problem" stuff from the folks there and it wasn't their fault. They don't build them, just sell the stuff. By the time SWMBO and I got home the kids had finished the planting so I'll start the new digger in the morning. Got fence to build and hate digging those holes by hand.
TNE you got my sympathy, nothing much worse than moving. Who knows, you may find out this will become a long term arraignment that is mutually beneficial to all concerned.
I don't know what is going on with this State. Seems every time we turn around they are shutting down more and more areas for public access. It's not just the quads but all forms of outdoor recreation involving the motor sports. You go into Oregon and they have new and bigger riding areas opening up each year. Towns are making money off those of us running down there from this myopic state. Maybe it's time to quit buying any of the licenses and permits here and spend our money in Idaho and Oregon where they appreciate it. Hit the #sses in the pocket book where they may pay some attention. Been doing all my riding on private land but have hopes of doing some trail riding again come next spring. Going to have some time to play by then but sure am not going to put any more cash in the hands of the DNR or the others that have benefited from my past payments. Oregon, here I come. I'll pay the required fees to those folks.
Nuff ranting for tonight. Got to start early in the morning as I'm too much of a little girl anymore to work after it starts getting hot out.

Good Morning PSAR!
Nice, clear morning, sun just came up while I was setting the sprinklers in the garden. Wind is up again and with the 55 degree temps it's chilly in just a tee shirt. Going to get warm today according to the weather forecast.
Have a quiet Sunday.

Yesterday around 4:00pm I was dying outside
Have two rhododendrons to dig up to make room for the shed, might try in transplant them elsewhere, if they don't survive, no big deal, haven't been able to kill one yet with my pruning

If I knew I could make a living in Oregon I'd move tomorrow, this economy just isn't strong enough to do any relocating right now.
