What are the best all around tires for the Oregon Coast? Are paddle tires needed or recommended for Moses Lake or Beverly?

I have been torn between the Skat Trak Haulers or Hauler Extremes for straight paddle. I am also interested in the ITP Sand Stars and the Skat Trak Edge for V-Shaped tires.

20" 8-paddle Hauler Extremes. Period...They hold up, they are worth the little extra extra over haulers. Extremes are a little stiffer paddle, than regular haulers, which I find kind of nice in different terrain. No more than 8 paddles, unless all you want to do is drag and you are building out your motor.

They grab when you need them to pull out of hole shots, and they flat out haul **** in the dune trails. And I DON'T ride slow. I can cut a corner on a dime with my straight paddles. And sidehill with the best of them. Anyone who tells you straight paddles don't corner just doesn't know how to ride.

Just my two cents, but I know I've put together a decent setup. You'll enjoy whatever you choose.

tires are weird....on my bike I found that 22/11/10 haulers do just about everything I want to do with a stock swing arm...I put a set of 22/11/8 haulers on it and it almost hooks up too much (both 8 paddle both extremes)about the same roll out but on the 8" wheel it just makes them hook up more for some reason.I like it but it takes some getting used to.I guess its time for the stroker crank and extended swing arm...but then I ride much slower and easier than Jayna.
