Who's quad where ya'll dragging up out of the trees?</end quote></div>
There is a hill down there that has a bunch of loop hill climbs on it. There is one chute that has always been a dead end at the top with a steep drop off on the other side down into trees and brush.
It looks like now that the locals with the high powered Banshees have cut down the brush and started to make a new, and very steep, tree shoot.
As I was rounding one of the top loops I saw this guy walking down the upper chute so I stopped and asked him if he had gone over the top, he said "yes" and he was stuck.
He was about 30 - 40 feet down with no possible way to ride out.
So I volunteered us to help (getting a dirty look from Karl) and 3 other guys came to help too. So all together there were about 10 of us and it actually came out a lot easier than we thought it would. To top it off, it was a 400ex with dirt tires on it!

Spinreel was great. Slight drizzle on T-day but sun the rest of the time. we had lots of fun untill the trip home. It took 8hrs on the way down and 10.5 on the way home.
Jayna, They say bad luck comes in 3's. Isn't that your 3rd. Hope it's over with now.

I certainly hope so...
So the doc says I have nerve injury. Only time will tell if I get the feeling back in my teeth. She indicated the nerves are right where I got hit, so it could be as the swelling goes down it might be fine, but might take longer if it's actual damage to the nerves.
The eye will just be pretty colors for a couple more weeks. Good job on patching up the cut of course.
Looks like ligament injury to the left thumb. Get to wear an immobilizer for a couple weeks to give it a chance to heal and we'll see from there.
My doc couldn't believe I actually kept riding the rest of the weekend. I pointed out it wasnt' my throttle thumb that was injured and it would take alot more than that to keep me off the dunes.
