Sliding on the ice!
#1
Went to Marienville with 2 friends yesterday, 2 on 4by2's, 1 4by4. Great weather and lots of riders. About 10 inches of snow, if your 2 wheel drive got out of the tracks, you were done. Some of the hills you never think twice about in the summer were totally impassable on a 2WD because of ice so slick you couldn't stand up on. Some 2wd's got pushed up the hills by 4wd's, some were dragged up, and in our case, some were pushed up by 3 sets of hands. I felt bad about being stuck, but I saw Banshees, TB 325's and 325 Magnums not getting up either.
It was big fun sliding around on the frozen water hole, but man am I sore today, all that pushing and pulling!
PS. saw the US Forest service (on quads) 3 times checking for registration
