Anyone use a tire repair kit before? How well do they work? I found a nail, and was wondering if plugging it will be effective enough to last another year? Has anyone ever had a plug blow out?

I ran almost a full year on a sidewall gash that I plugged on a front tire on my YFZ450. I had to use 2 plugs, but the patch held. I always have one of those repair kits, along with the little CO2 powered inflators with me whenever I go trail riding.

Use the tire plug; it will last a year or more and is far cheaper than a new tire. You could maybe even get someone who has put one in before show you how.

That really sux. I know some people that who not only don't wear helmets, etc but often have a beer in one hand while they are riding...</end quote></div>

Ya I also have seen alot of that, As there stopped on the trail, most of the time right in the middle, kids running around, & beer in hand..

Hey people, I am looking for riders, ATV riders/dirtbike riders within the Ottertail, Douglas, Pope, and so on areas, basically the Alexandria, Fergus Falls, Sauk Center, maybe even St. Cloud, Willmar, anywhere within 1.5hours from Alexandria.

Just looking for poeple to ride with that are close by..
I live in a small town right outside Alexandria, called Villard.. its between Alex and Glenwood, and kinda between Sauk Centre.. Alex is like 15 Miles North, Glenwood is like 10 Miles south, and Sauk is like 20 miles east..

Also looking for riders to plan trips with, trips to Appleton Riding park, Spider Lake/Nemadji Trails, Arksansaw, WI MX Park, and other areas...

Hit me up on here, or email me at gc_extreme@hotmail.com
U can add me on ur MSN messenger too.

Peace
