When you say local club trails where do you mean? I was on the cheese trail a year ago and I went from Monroe to Darlington. It was pretty much all flat straight railroad bed. I'm thinking we didn't get to the local club trails. Where did you get onto those and what kind of terrain were they?

 

Just north of Darlington you'll find a local club trail that will take off to the east. The trails will take you through pastures, over ramps, and through corn fields as well as traveling over roads (routes) on your way to Fayette. A lot of that trail is slow and somewhat rough. Well worth the ride. I enjoyed that part of the trail more than running the cheese trail. We got on at Mineral Point and headed south to Gratiot, turned around and found the trail to Fayette. That sucks and is cool at the same time. I said I would never go back to the cheese trail because it was too much like driving there in my pickup. No terrain at all. I will have to try it out again to see what the club stuff is like.

EVERYONE here that love to ride quads NEEDS to go check out the Dunn-Goode trail system in Marinett/Florence Area.... THIS IS A FANTASTIC adventure!!

We camped at Lake Hilbert Campground in Fence, WI and rode to dunbar, pembine etc everywhere!!...the canopy over the trails, everything - it was well suited for sport and utility quads....

 

LABOR DAY WEEKEND - we are planning ro go to Park Falls, WI to the MUD RUNS there.....and ride all weekend all over the place. Anyone wanting to go - lets get together. We are looking for a place to stay right now - we may also hook up with some local atv clubs for rides too...should be a fun time! EVERYONE is welcome to attend!

I am not bringin my sons...they will be gone!!

Star, 2nd all that fun we had on our weekend, have to do it again soon!!!

1st weekend in October Griz and I will be up setting up our sites. Probably not much riding but will definately bring them up.

In Hayward this weekend at a friends cabin, will be kinda close to you. Have a good time riding!!!
