MN. and Wis. Riding Groups

I wish I could get out and ride. My normal riding partner (my dad) isn't going to be able to ride until Sept since he is working on redoing his kitchen for the next month. I haven't gotten to ride since the middle of JUNE. I put on some new 27" swamp lites and need to test them out somewhere. Being in the Milwaukee area sucks as it takes a good 2.5 hours to get anywhere good for riding. More if I want to go to black river falls or farther. I've been to BRF once and it was fun. Put on 200 miles in a day and a half of riding.

Hi.....if you arent doing anything on the weekend of the 21st-24th of August....a HUGE group of us are heading to Lake Hilbert, WI for a long weekend. I wont get there until the 22nd afternoon...but it is proving to be a pretty fun weekend. If you want, I can send you info on it.
This area has campsites (cabins are all taken) so you can camp all weekend, ride with a bunch of fun people and have a really great time enjoying this sport.

I am going to take the kids up to the Chippewa County trail on Sunday. It goes between Bloomer and Holcome or you can go to Flathers Resort. Should be fun!
Open to those who want to join us...!! The kids will have thier 90 so I;ll be going about that speed, but it's great to relax!

There has to be more Wisconsin riders on here.</end quote></div>
There ARE - it is frustrating to share rides with people - but no one wants to post and go.....so, what now??
FYI - I finally was able to get hooked up with UNCLEFESTER and his family this weekend. We had a fantastic time in Burnett County riding the trail system there. I introduced him to my friend SailorGriz and his family and they all hit it off well and Fester and Griz eve got annual camping sites at the OakRide Resort...beautiful place for families!!

Took a ride on the "Cheese Trail", part of the Tri-county trail system in southern Wisconsin, on Saturday. Took a break from the BRF trail system. Started in Mineral Point and was able to find our way to Fayette for the first time. The local club trails are a blast to ride. The group and I all had a good time.
