i am wanting to go riding in bluefield wv this saturday. i no how to get to the bluefield exit but i do not no where to go from there. i am coming from north carolina and going riding for the day. where can i park my truck and where do you put in at the trails. thanks for any replys.

 

I live about 35 miles from Bluefield in McDowell County, but I don't know where they ride in Bluefield. There is a place just outside Bramwell on RT 52 North from Bluefield that many people ride. You hardly ever go by there that you don't see several trailers and trucks parked there where people have unloaded and took off up that holler. To get there you would get on RT 52 north in Bluefield. If I can help in any other way give me a shout.

 

thanks for the reply. i will check out the place you talked about in a couple of weekends. this saturday will be going to hilltop in bluefield wv got directions from my uncle tonight. we are shooting for a total of 150 miles of trial riding cant wait. the popo 700 and griz 600 are ready to go. once again thanks for the info.

 

if it is the same hilltop i know youre in take the trail to stairsteps continue down to riders paradise and wagon wheel is below it keep on down pinnacle creek if you go far enough you will come to hatfield mccoy pinnacle creek trail but you can bear to left for free trails look for signs you can get to welch sterling drive in has good food carry gas some trails not marked be careful have fun you will have to ride it several times to be familar with the trails
