Where to ride in Mid Michigan

Closest legal place is Gladwin trials ... about 8 miles West off exit 190 ( I-75 )
Has about 30 miles of trail and a 20 acre all sand scramble area ...... plus it also has a 3 mile route one the North side of the road..
or there the Mounds ....exit 126 ( I-75 ) about 12 miles East .... There's a 200 acre park ( cost $7-10 ) in Genesee County .. .
has a lot of mud ? .... Many trucks enjoy this stomping grounds....
these are the closest to you !!! Denton/Leato ( West ) and St helen ( North ) would be other options too !!

Gladwin gets WET in the springtime when all the melted snow floods the Molasses River. The trail is in the floodplain and sometimes the water goes right up to the racks. Leota is a great trail and worth going to. Denton is okay. St. Helen has a 2 square mile area where you can go off the trails and do whatever you want to. Bull Gap and The Meadows aren't too much farther away. From Bull Gap you can cut through South Branch and get on the Huron trail. It goes almost all the way to Oscoda, and Bull Gap also joins The Meadows trail at M-33. You can go from Luzerne in the west to a within a couple of miles from Oscoda in the east if you carry gas with you. You can get all the maps at the DNR website. http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,..._15070-38330--,00.html
