Great Trails are being Ruined!
Does anyone have a clue why the DNR shut down all the side hills @ Bull Gap and made the hill one way traffic? This is ridiculous, why would anyone think a "bypass" that takes 5 minutes and has speed bumps is a good way to get to the bottom of a hill?
I've been riding in and around Mio, MI and the Bull Gap system for over 10 years and this trail system is being ruined. If anyone knows why DNR is screwing up this trail system please let me know.

I heard about that and quit going to the hill altogether. I've been riding there over 10 years as well. I used to love going up all the side hills. That was 10 times the challenge of the main hill. When they closed off all the side hills you could only go up and down the main hill. Now you can't even go down it? WTF? Since it's a National Forest trail, not a state trail, it's probably the forest rangers that did it and not the DNR. They're probably just doing it to spend our money. Like they did on the hill next to M-33. They made it into a long gentle slope you could go down in a wheelchair.

I know...that hill along M-33 used to be a blast too and when they changed that I was a little worried and now they've done the same thing to Bull Gap. Its a shame because challenging hills like that is why I ride the area, I can find gentle slopes anywhere.
