Just moved to Temecula CA
#1
I just moved to Temecula CA from the east coast and I know there are a ton of great places within 2 hours but I want to find a place I can get to in a half hour or so to ride on a Thursday for an hour. Can anyone help?? I have a 2007 Polaris Predator 500 that I just picked up yesterday. Joe

It's not like the old days! I use to live in West Riverside when I was a kid, just off the I-15. We could ride from there to San Diego, all off-road. There is a county ordinance now against riding, almost everywhere including your own property!
There are a couple places in the national forest to the west that are legal, but they aren't very extensive. Several places in the San Jacinto Mountains as well. As for local places you can safely sneak into near Temecula, I have no idea......
This is why I am in the process of building up a set of dual-sport (plated, street legal) motorcycles! It opens up a whole lot of places to ride where you just can't go on a green sticker machine!!!
PM me if you are looking for someone to show you around! We ride the high desert (Rasor, Calico, Stoddard, Dumont), low desert (Ocotillo, Glamis), local San Bernardino mountains, and the Sierras/Inyos (Bishop/Mammoth/Lone Pine).
