Me and my buddies will be coming from Sioux Falls, SD to Jackson/Clark Co. trails on May 14-18. Anyone is welcome to join. We are hoping to get a campground in Hatfield, if not a hotel in BLF. Bring your quads, bring some women, and damn well better bring some beer. Let me know if your interested!

Try the Bunkhouseretreat great place to camp clean showers and they carter the atvs. They have a bar and a nice little mud hole and track.

 

Yeah, we've been coming to Jackson/Clark for the last 8 yrs now. We always use to go on the Holiday weekends, but at times was just too busy. So, we are going to try these dates. We are hoping the trails will still be alittle wet. The Bunkhouse is fun, that place can get alittle wild! Sounds good BioWare, I'll be in touch when we get the camping arrangements settled. We will be camping at Russell Memorial Campground in Hatfield. We got a site right next to the trail.

I like the other side of the lake at east arbutus lake i have stayed there before it is very nice.

 

Yeah, I do like the East side of the lake too. Have you seen the new campground they just put in a couple years ago? Its very nice, and I hear they are adding on to it. We chose the site in Hatfield just because of easy access to some amenities. We're looking forward to it. We also have a trip planned to the Tri-County/Bayfield area in July, so we're really looking forward to that. I hear there the best trails in the state. Is there any good tracks that allow ATV's near Hatfield?

 

The weekend you are planning on coming is opening weekend of the jackson county trail system. Clark County opens on May 1st. The trail system will be pretty busy I would imagine, but fun none the less. There are usually still some mud and water holes present.

There is a track over by Hixton Northwest of BRF on I94) called CMJ Raceway. They usually run motocross with the 2 wheelers there, but I have heard of some ATV races at times. http://www.cmjraceway.com/

 

Good deal. Thanks for the info 99H. I knew Clark was going to be open, but did not know about Jackson. Clark Co. usually has some good mud holes and water spots. We're looking forward to it.
