I've been riding RAC property for the past 2 years...tons of riding. I was up their last weekend meeting a guy from St. Cair who has 30 acers to lease with direct access to RAC property, safe, gated. Going up this weekend with a backhoe and getting 30 tons of gravel deliverd to improve the access road into the property. About 14 of us all work together and ride all over up there. We wanted a place to camp out and keep a few campers there. Night Riding is on!

 

I heard about that guy, has 30 acres and leases out for camping and riding. Is he just west of RT 61? I only ridden the east side of RT 61, off Burma RD.

 

His property is on the South End of St. Clair...it's cheap enough too and we'll have exclusive rights to it. Do you ride in Duncott also? We did 68 miles there a couple of weeks ago.

 

No only rode off burma road area and most of the trails in the woods and powerlines. So what side of 61 is this guys property on? The side the home depot is on, or where darkwater road is on? The home depot side I refer to as the east side of 61 in St Clair.

 

Where in NJ are you Chinook? This Friday there is a group going riding on the burma side. I might go, if I do I will get there after 12 or 1pm. Takes me 1hr & 50 minutes to get to St Clair.

I've been to most of the locations in your pics, never been under 81 though. When is your next trip out there? Gotta be careful when you get up north of Burma near reservations and water shed property, it is posted. Someone told me once they got stopped for TP. I always turn back when I come across the PP signs.

Black Horse Pike sounds real familar, thats near 31 by Lawrence/ Princeton, correct? Thats about a 40 minute ride from me. Once you take 31 north to 78, I am about 5 miles north of 78 from there. I can't wait for Fall, the hot temps are just not comfortable to ride in. Also look forward to winter riding, in the snow!! Let me know your ride dates, PM me with your cell # or what ever. I would ride with you guys, also know a bunch of people who ride there from the group rides. They are planning a ride this Friday the 21 rst, might join up with them in the after noon time. When i go there, i usually get there around 1-2pm and ride till dark, and through dark if there is a group riding.

 

I'm 10 minutes from the Walt Witman Bridge just over the river from Philly. We're trying to get up there Saturday to sign the lease for that property then we can campout and ride at night. I'll let you know if we're still on for this weekend later in the week. Looks like Friday & Saturday will be isolated T storms...need some rain!

 

How much do they charge you for the lease on that land of 30 acres?

 

He's asking $1500 but I think I can get him down to $1200. Me and one other guy are going to sign the lease, then the other folks that ride with us can just pay us. Makes it easier when 2 people are making the decissions. Nice spot close to Burma road, easy access to all the trails and a good jumping off spot to ride St. Clair area. We plan on putting a camper up there and building a pavillion/picnic area, big fire pit, places to pitch a tent. I'm tired of driving an hour and a half home after riding all day.
