Thumbs up

Excellent pics, Kodiak450, but you coulda left out the stuck part (j/k)! Very glad you were there to pull me out. We'll have to get some shots of you in that hole next time.

That hole is one of the best I've came across there, for one it doesn't have any coal dust in it and it has unlimited potential to widen and grow longer. That is the first place I want to head to next time, is that hole. No need to feel bad about getting stuck, that is what the fun part of mudding is imo. Trying to conquer a mud hole. I should've taken pics of that other area we both got stuck in, where we both needed to be pulled out. That mud was like thick, gooey, cement.

I have to powerwash my atv this afternoon, it is covered with mud. I'll tell you DS2, that 700 with FI is real impressive. Also the PS, unbelieveable ride! After riding your grizzly, it's got me wanting speed now. I like the part where it makes you hold on to the handlebars, while giving you a thrust back. But the downside I don't like is no pull starter, you never know when you need a pull starter.

The gooey cement is exactly how I described that stuff to all who'd listen (and look at the great pics). I power washed mine this morning and several stickers were coming off before some of that "mud"...tough stuff. Also had to pull two wheels off to get the stones out that were rubbing/screatching from that second incident.

I agree the 700's overall package is a good one. We'll swap rides next time so you too can ride like an immature kid! I don't have that type of riding available where I'm at, so it was a little like the kid in the candy store. A pull starter back-up would be nice and those OEM 2 ply's are sinful, but as I saw on your Griz you wouldn't leave those 2 ply's on for long...nice setup!

%$&!...I'd like to go too, but I agreed to chauffeur my wife and M-in-law to A.C. for the day. I think I'm available this coming Thurs. and maybe Mon. I know Tues., Wed. and Fri. are out. I looked at the extended forecast and it's calling for rain toward the end of next week (if you believe anything that comes from a weather person), so if that happens I'll be taking the Griz to the weekend ride instead assuming I get the permit.

I got stuff to do today as well. My back still needs some down time anyways for healing.
