Do you always post when you will be riding RAC? I joined this year and have been riding usually every other weekend up there so I would love to know when you plan to go including weekdays. Also, Berma road is the only place I have ever gone. Where is a good place to park to hit the Duncott section? Thanks and hopefully I can meet up with you guys one of these days.

Yes I always do post here when we are going to meet up there. I believe there is a Dec group ride towards middle or end of the month for this month. Every month out of the year there is a planned monthly ride with the group. Some of us make it, some of us don't every month. And some of us don't make it at all sometimes. I can't wait for the snow to accumulate there and ride through it, looking forward to that. Just bought these really great mossy oak break up 150 gram gortex gloves from cabelas which also are 100% water proof. They really are the best gloves I have ever had. Not bad at all for $49.00 price tag.
I wouldn't mine going riding this week. Suppose to get alot of rain Thurs-Fri this week, and I like riding there when there is heavy down pours. Lots of mud and water to bog through. Maybe I will be able to go Thurs, provided I can fine someone to ride with me. I like to have a riding buddy/buddies, in case of a break down. Wouldn't want to get stranded deep in the woods, miles away from where I parked and having to push the atv back to the truck. Plus better to have someone with you incase something happened and someone needed help.
How far away do you live from RAC (Burma Rd area in St Clair PA)? I'm in north Jersey, and it takes me 1 hr and 45 minutes to get there.

Ahhh... My mistake.. I thought it was you that posted about stopping at the pub in the duncott section. Yes it is across 61 and I have never been there. I would love to hear a good place to park. I am in the Quakertown PA area which also takes about 1hr 45mins to RAC. I appreciate the feedback! I will keep my eyes open for you to announce the group ride and if I can make it I will. I look forward to meeting your group.

There is another guy who posts here that is from south jersey who rented out a camping area on private property, whom I have yet to meet up with. he rides with a group of people and he said he has covered alot of ground up there with his buddies he rides with.
Which days work for you for riding usually? That group I rode with usually goes on Fridays, sometimes Weds. I can't wait to get up there after a decent snow storm, hopefully that will happen in the next couple weeks. I own and operate a snow plowing business, so I can't ride during or right after it has snowed, cause I have to take care of my accounts. Unless of coarse it doesn't snow here, but snows there. If you want, PM me your cell number and email address and i'll send you my cell number. I can have your email placed on the group ride email list, so you will know when a group ride is taking place.

Looks like the 17th (next sunday) there is a chance for a big snow storm to happen. GFS is showing alot of moisture with it, and if it verifies we could be seeing at least 12" or more of snow. I want to then go to RAC after I am through plowing and do some winter riding.

Where are you from ? I don't know, how much snow is on the ground at RAC now? Couple of inches?
I gotta time my ride when my wife is off from work, because I got 3 dogs and don't want to leave two of them outside all day in the cold when I am out in PA riding. And my other Rottweiler, he can't be around the other one or he will kill it, so he is in all day. RAC is a 1 hr 50 min drive. I really would love to go riding tomorrow though, haven't been to RAC since August.
