Just digging up this old post, Im from the forest lake area, if anyone is up for a ride, look me up. I do a fair share of riding in Danbury Wis area.

I have a outlander 800 max and a Suzuki LTR 450.... one for each style of riding.

Default Black Hills Option

Quite a few people from Minnesota ride in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It's about a day's drive each direction but once here, you can ride and ride and ride. There are local clubs with members who can may be willing to ride with visitors.

I was there this summer. We stayed in Terry Peak and had a good time. Next time I will be spending more than 3 days and probbly get a guide! There is tons of trails but I can see were a guy could get lost!

Default Guides

There are no "outfitters" currently licensed as guides by the forest service in the Black Hills, however the Let's Ride ATV/UTV Club of Keystone, SD, has a number of members who are retired and often look for riding opportunities. If you have a date in mind, it wouldn't hurt to contact the club. Try trailmaster@letsrideatvclub.com
