Spider Lake Recreational Area MN Question
#1
I've been doing a bit of reading about Spider Lake and its trails. I have read that there is dispersed camping there.
I would like to know if there are spots where a camper could set up or if it's strictly tent camping.
Any other information about the camping (how many spots, are there fire rings, wood, toilet, etc.) would be appreciated as well!
Thanks!

I've only been there once, but I did see camping areas along the road. There were campers there, so it should be fine. No hookups or anything, just boondocking(primitive). Real nice trails and some nice views also. On nice weekends, it looks like you may want to get there early to get a spot. They seemed to fill up fast.

The only toilets are at the new parking area off the fire road, and I think there is an older one down by the lake. Like everyone said, the spots are primitive only, and fill up fast on weekends, hardly ever saw an open spot on weekends, lots of campers and tents, pretty much first come first serve.
