Massachusetts trails

I thought the new ATV laws and enhanced sticker visibility was going the end problems like this in MA. Wait, you mean that no matter how many laws you pass the idiots that break laws will still break them? People who have no regard for registrations, private property or safety wil ALWAYS give this sport a bad name.
Its a shame. And, I'd be happy to donate to an ATV cause (Central MA Trail Hogs?)that should step up and help or my time to help them repair the field. But really, these things have always happened and always will. You just can't fix stupid.

I was thinking of some way to put together an atv run- tickets at $20 each- includes burgers & dogs at the end and the rest to the charlton recreation dept...

This is a great idea and I would be happy to join.
Now if we just had somewhere legal in MA to do this.....

I'll call the town planner- ask if there's any state trails we can use for the day. they did this in warren, ma last year for a teen killed on an atv- collections went to the parents.
They also have done it here in the douglas state park trails- I remember dozens and dozens of bikes & atv's wearing #'s and riding police escort for some local charity...
I 'll have to apply for a permit, and get permission from the conservation & activities dept. in charlton- then apply for a public rally permit and touch base with the CPD...
