hehe-
was just riding it around the back yard and noticed alot of chatter from the rear cv's- checked them out and there's a lot of "in & out" play- called up the dealer and bitched at'em.
Turns out this thing had an extended warranty purchased for it- good till 2013
Dealer said they will order 2 new axles for it today and put them in on tuesday
Had it one day and I'm already putting rear cv's in it ( 200 miles on the atv
)
Dealer said there was tolerance issues with the rear cv's on the 09 xp's
I hope this isn't a sign of things to come....

Hey beer gut, I stumbled upon this site looking up trails in Douglas,ma. I live on the southern new England trunkline trail in douglas,ma and I would love to have someone show me the trails around here and the state forest too. I have a 1997 300 ex and I just replaced the chain and sprockets so I'm good to go. I'm actually riding with two friends of mine tomorrow and we are going to go exploring.

Have fun exploring, but, You should stay off the trunkline and out of the state parks. Both are off limits and both are heavily patrolled. Illegal riding in both of those areas is getting responsible ATVers a bad name.

That looks a lot nicer (and bigger) without the storage seat.

I was able to ride to the tri-state marker today, which my group and I stumbled upon by accident. I would love to go riding with a group on trails that are safer and more atv friendly. I do realize the trunkline is illegal but I consider myself and my group responsible as a whole and the trunkline is the only trail in my front yard 50 feet away. I would like to catch power lines or gas lines but like I said earlier I haven't been riding since 2005 and haven't explored the trunkline or the trails off it at all.
Also, I read about you guys dealing with Mr. Spikey, I had a run in with him in the past when I went riding a few years ago he knocked me off my quad and took two keys from the the other guys I was riding with. Luckily, I was able to get back on it and I drove to the wallum lake rod and gun club and had them call the police. The officer was very nice and asked if I wanted to press charges for assault and battery but I declinded because I was more shaken up then injured. I was younger at the time and now I am married and expecting a child in November. I remembered there was a sand pit behind Spikey's house but couldn't remember how to get there thus the whole reason we were even near his property.
