Hey Beergut,

Going to donate right after this. What an awesome thing you're doing, kudos! Like somebody said eariler, there is no cure for stupid.

I live just over the border in N Smithfield RI. I've riden quite a bit at the old Wallum lake rod and gun club off 98, have a friend who was member. I've always wondered about those trails "to the north", but was too scared to venture up that way. I wouldn't mind checking them out some time if you still have some room for a rider in your group. This forum wouldn't let me do a signature yet so I'll tell you that I ride a 2010 PoPo 500 HO with and EPI clutch kit and think I can handle the terrain from what you describe. I work M-F so I am a bit of a weekend warrior. Don't know if you golf, but I belong to a nice course down here and can recipricate with you that way as I don't have any good trails to offer back Take care!

Thanks for your support Brian- I really appreciate it. I'll be posting an update later today on the charity site "www.atv-charity.com"

I'll add your name to the supporter list as well!

LET'S KEEP THOSE DONATIONS COMING IN!

I remember posting that, but the post just before it:

there was no confirmation on where & when so...

No biggie- I spent most of my weekend dropping 90' pine trees, building a play area / playground for my kids and spent a few hours today meeting with the webster lake fish & game club about the atv-charity. I even got an hour of ride time in with a few guys I met in the trails behind my house- we all ended up taking one from mr spikey

I hate to admit it but I think I'm just going to let him win this battle. I have no interest in going through there anymore. I tried crossing that river near spikey's to head the other way on powerlines but it's too deep. I'll have to get to those powerlines via Orange Street one of these days.

it's easy to do via the pit- you just have to ride tar for 1000' or so- which is what I usually do now.
From my house- I usually take my trail to the pit- boogie down south st for 1000' and hop back on the grid lines- bypasses spikey's house all together.

Yup, done it once already. I dislike it but not as much as fixing flat tires
