Hey guys just got back from our trip to jericho, what a great time
There was an excellent mix of trails and the scenery was fabulous. We did 107 miles in a day and a half. Not bad considering my poor wife's rental had almost 8000 miles on it and was falling apart. And it was her first time
We hit all but 3 trails and did the success trail which was 20 miles each way and 3 miles through the city of berlin (each way). Glad that you can stop for gas in town
I threw up a few photos in my albums if you're interested.

a few pics of todays ride with wilson up at jgars place-
I loved those trails- had a blast.
I only got stuck once while I was creeping into what looked like a shallow sandy puddle
as usual though, it was actually a quick sand puddle and I sank right in- I turned around to see where wilson was and get a winch line- he was already taking pics

I got some good air on the xp- kev got some vid.
ATVConnection.com ATV Enthusiast Community - beergut's Album: riding jgars trails / wilson & beergut
we met some chooch who drove in with his wife and 5 year old kid- he was shitfaced (10am btw)-
so kev & I are heading down the trail, kev leading- we turn a corner and there's the chooch with his 5 year old sitting up front on the atv coming right at wilson- kid & father had no helmet on- he was still shitfaced
kev did a quick "stage right" and avoided a serious injury.
so- later we're exploring and come up on this huge / deep water hole- probably a good 100' long and 4'deep.
shitfaced chooch is sitting at the water edge on his big bore / snorkeled Arctic Cat sporting 28" outlaws- just spaced out looking down the trail- we made the mistake of stopping to say hi... here's a little example of how the conversation went (no exaggeration)
BG: "do it- I'll pull you out."
wilson: "go for it"
wilson: "yup"
(chooch starts looking over our atv's)
BG: (I shut my atv off- cause now I wanna fock with this guy
) " hey- you ahhh happen to know some guy up northern NH goes by the name of steve?"
(inside joke, steve is a guy me, wilson, jerry & cnc met while camping in the white mountains- steve had the best atv, best tires and could ride better then anyone who ever sat on an atv and no matter what you had- it was ****)
BG: "yeh- they have a bunch of AC riders up there- I figured you might know this guy you remind me of named steve- he rides a yamaha"

BG: (cut him off) "ya, so let's see you do it, lets go..."
You guys get the picture....
He took off into the water and we did 60mph in the opposite direction

chooch: "ya, what- you don't think, you don't, you don't think I can, I'll make it through? I'll get through there- this, uhhh I'll just, mmmph- this thing is the best atv"
chooch: "this, this thing, you know, you know what, what this thing is? this lets it breath under water." (starts pointing to the snorkel)
chooch: "ya- I'll get through this no problem- tell you, hey, I'll make a deal- you, you want to make a deal? hey, if I make it, then you have to go through also. this atv, this... this is the best atv made right here. I'll get over anything... you can't, you can't beat this thing."

BG: "yeh- they have a bunch of AC riders up there- I figured you might know this guy you remind me of named steve- he rides a yamaha"
chooch: "ya I know, I know everyone. hey let me run, let, let me ask you, run this by you... (sounding even more drunk) so this, this guy comes - you prolly saw'em on a dirt bike, he just stops and says "you really should be wearing a helmet" so I says - " I, I can make that decision, you know I'm, I'm not a violent guy but I have my wife and my kids I'm a, I mean I'm a real violent guy- I'm a crazy violent, I'm violent and all crazy you know but I have, my, you know kid with me so......."

Lol....I didn't think you could capture the essence of how crazy that guy was, but I think you nailed it. The really funny thing is Beergut was not exaggerating. He was very proud of being violent.
Anyway, had a real fun ride. What a day! Gotta hit it with Jgar next time, he knows way more trails!
I'll post some pics later.
