The Marines have landed. I feel safer already.

OK...That sounded sarcastic but really-thank god for the Marines.

Just got home and I cannot even find my trailer under the snow. Hope the sleds get out and pack this down soon. Actually, I'm happy for the sleds, this is the two weeks a year that they get to use their toys. No good riding this weekend...

changing up the theme

Sleds have been out everyday around me- I heard'em around 2am last night- do these guys work?
Like you said- they are just happy to finally use that machine that's been sitting collecting dust 10 months out of the year

This weekend won't be a good ride for sure- gotta keep the rpm's at 4500 just to stay somewhat straight at 15 mph in the woods... all the douglas roads are still under snow.

Hell if I had a sled, I would take time off from work and be out there all night too. They look fun, but I really could not stand to look at the toy I spent so muchmoney on and not be able to use it 95% of the time.

I just took a spin around my lake and it was not too bad. I also did a nice loop in the woods where the sleds packed it down and it was fun. But I wouldn't venture out in the woods on an unbroken trail. This stuff is deep! Oh well, I'll just do about 200 laps around the lake and I'll have fun.

They're saying another storm tuesday? I just hope its gone by the time I get back from vacation....2 weeks alone with the GF and I'm gonna need to ride for sure

I was out in the Douglas Forest last night on my sled. Good riding from the Douglas Res --> Wallum! Anyone have any idea how to get from the trunkline trail or Wallum to the Casimir Pulaski State Park in RI? Looking on google maps, it looks like there is a good trail system which isnt too far south of Wallum.

I sent you a PM sith directions how to do this. Since it is not a legal area, I didn't want to post on open forum.

Sounds like fun out there, though. Wish the snow wasn't too deep for my Rincon.

Troyboy, you Wilson, and I need to get on an offline email chat (I can only PM one person at a time). Send me your emails and we can get something going...
