Rob, it seems this year that the Connecton dropped the ball as far as updating the story for 2001...the old page is still available to read but the info is no good at all. The APHA does have a small webpage but it's outdated with old pics and has little info. This year, Pa Atving.com took the bull by the horns and is working closely with the guys from the Nursery to get out the word. There is a terra map too of the new location...its gonna be sweet!

The map is up and running, please feel free to save it and email it around to your buddies, etc. It's quite large and will take some time to load. This will give you an idea of the new location compared to the old one.

Extreme - I got a flyer from a local dealer, and it states that the trails are only 10 miles long? Weren't last year's trails in the 30 plus mile category? I am just wondering how long the trails are this year.

Thanks
Chris

Like I said at the top, there's alot of bad info floating around out there. The top post is the real deal...straight from the horses mouth. There are 3 trails...each approximately 35 miles each.

Steve:

Is there any way to PROHIBIT those always-present, drunk fat guys on 3-wheelers from 1979 who ALWAYS get stuck on every damned hill causing those HORRIBLE traffic jams?

They should require you have an ATV from at LEAST the 1990's.

Cripes.

steve,

On friday, what all is going on? Will I be able to keep my quad near me at the expo? Will you be able to ride around the expo or not? I plan on being there on Thursday night, and camping til Sunday morning. How much will this run me?
Sorry for the dumb questions, this is my first time.

Man you are killing me here. Some of the best quads were built before 1990. The Honda 250R, quadracers LT250r and LT500r (quadzilla)

Camping rates are as follows...

Wednesday arrivals....20.00
Thursday arrivals.....15.00
Friday arrivals.......10.00
Saturday arrivals......5.00

(If you arrived on Thursday, it would cost you 15.00 for the whole week uncluding Saturday nite's stay. All campers should be departed by noon on Sunday.)

As far as the boozers, well, its an atv jamboree (whatcha expect). Things should be more controllable this year at the new location. Alchohol will be prohibited on the trails!

Are they going to have the same ugly looking stickers on the helmet for registration? It took me 6 months just to get the sticker off my helmet. Its not so much the sticker but the ugly Pink, Green, and other crazy neon colors that they have!!!!! Why not a nice white or black sticker with white numbers? That would look cool! For anyone that reads this form the ride is fun. If you have never gone before you have to try it at least once. It is not a bunch of beer drinking fools. There are a lot of nice Quads and nice people at the event. Sure there are a lot of bottle necks but the spectacle of so many Quads is unreal. This will be my 3rd year. I feel bad that they put the age limit up because since this is a poker run it truly is a family event. If only other small towns could learn from Cochranton's example!
