Does anyone in these forums ride around the Dallas Fort Worth area? If so, lets set-up a group ride. I have only been to two places, Flying "P" in Weatherford and Red River Ranch North West of Denton. I'm going this weekend (10/16/99) to ride at the Red River Ranch.

Sorry I cant make it this weekend but some friends of mine go there usually twice a year. Were planning on going Easter weekend because we all have Good Friday off. I hear there are other places such as Grapevine Lake to go riding. Lets get together and check it out.
Lets ride!

If you like to go muddin and want to ride with a whole bunch of people(bout 500 to 1000 riders) there is a big ride held at fun wheeler park in Longview Texas. Its only 2.5 hours from Dallas east on I-20 but i dont know if u would want to drive that far. It will be held Fri. Sat. and Sun after thanksgiving. $10 per Atv and $5 per person with free campin all weekend. There will be a poker run and a mudrace that weekend for cash prizes. Sorry i dont have the phone number now for u to contact them if your interested.

BigBear,
Have you been out there (Fun Wheeler Park) I went on opening weekend, but it wasn't much fun... we rode for about 3 hours and ended up leaving for lack of anything to do. We played around in that "trough" and rode "Mossacin trail" twice... that was about all we found...
Oh, there was a big pond that I crossed on both my Scrambler and my brothers BigBear.. It wasn't very deep though.. 'Bout 3 1/2-4 ft.??? I went thru the middle of it, and back across.. (maybe 60-70ft???) It WAS good for cleaning the machines!!!...
Anyway.. if you've been out there since, or know some good spots that we might have missed... post of e-mail me please... I want to go back out there, but NOT a $20 each just to find out.
Thanx...!!!!

Ride to Live!! Just lock it up when you done so you can ride again.

Default East Texas Riders (DFW Area)

We have gone to a place in Royce City, TX a few times and had fun on a creek bed trail they had out there. Haven't had the quad that long so we are looking for some fun family style trails with some challanges but fun.
