Great Ride
So I met Butlerboy and we decided to ride and we went out last Sunday. The ride was great large meadows / powerlines / forest / water / train track and road crossings. All you could ask for......
The only problem is these places are well kept secrets and since some folks have no respect I can understand why everyone doesn't know about these places and of those that do few want to share.
I just want to say publicly say thanks to Butlerboy for showing me around and that I look forward to riding next Sunday.

Western Pa- whose riding this weekend?
I'm really itching to get out for a couple days. This weekend weather sounds great (4th of July weekend). My riding buddies are tied up but I'm heading to Marienville/timberline by myself. Not the smartest thing to do, but when I do go there alone, I take it easy. Just need to get out there. Anybody else heading up there this weekend and looking for someone to ride with? I may just take the tent and stay for a night. Im heading up Sunday (i have Monday-Wed off), so let me know. We can hook up early Sunday morning.

well the 4th as come and gone family kept me home and off the bike. Besides the weather has been in the 90+ range.
I am going to ride this Sunday 7/11 if the temp is below 90 degrees.
It is just too hot with all the gear and a helmet when it gets that hot.
I can also send you a PM with my daytime ctc info. I will know for sure if we are going this Friday 7/9

looking to ride
Hi all I have made a few posts here and there and it was suggested that I post here to get a better response.
Soooooo here it is.
I am looking for other folks from in and around Pittsburgh to ride with on the weekends. I have 2 groups of guys I go with but life keeps them from riding and I am lucky enough to have the time to get out once a week. (thanks to my understanding wife) Currently my quad has sat for the last 3 weeks.
If anyone out there is suffering from the same situation I say lets end the suffering there is enough of it in the world.
Just post here or send me a PM I get on the forum most days and can access it from home or work.
This weekend on Sunday 5/9 (mothers day) I am going to head out myself to Indian Creek Valley ATV club just off the Donegal exit on 76. I am not currently a member but they are having an open house the cost is 15 dollars and you can use that tword your 70 dollar year long family pass.

Just thought I would make this thread current.
Still riding and happy to say most weekends.
Our group is 6 core members with another 4-5 guys who ride every so often.
If you are in the Pittsburgh metro area send me a PM.
As I posted earlier about Butlerboy (5/28/10) The trails we ride are not well known so we would have to meet and talk before any invites would be extended. (we are still riding together and have traveled a few thousand miles)
