I do know of one place close to G-aylord. It's called the North Branch Route. To get to the parking from ***lord, take M32 east towards Atlanta. You'll drive maybe 20 minutes. You want to take this to Turtle lake road, make a right. Take this till you come to Old State Rd. Cross Old State, there is a stop sign there, and parking is on the left hand side. It's the closest place I know of. If I'm not mistaken though you can park somewhere in ***lord and just ride the trail right on into the loop. For more info I would go to the Michigan DNR website. Here is the link,

If you have anymore questions let me know.
Later.
