cruising my neighborhood with 14" was a lot, i cant imagine 20" in the woods and i am running 27" tires.

My brother has never claimed to keep up with me in the muck, he rides a sport quad and tends to leave my old @$$ behind once the trail clears.

It all about the ground clearance- outlanders don't have rear a-arms that drag in the snow. I do ok in 4x4 ini the deep snow, but it's tricky at times- gotta keep the momentum going, once you slow down you get stuck.

In teh spring i will register with nh, i plan to meet up at least a couple times to check out this monadnock trail.

As for my MA reg, i just got the plate in the fall when i bought the quad, no plan to cancel the reg. I am very familiar with october Mtn, we go out there at least twice a year. columbus day weekend we do a camptrip and stay at a place down the street, been doing this for the past 12 years.

Can't imagine the trails up at LMFT being passable right now- don't think you'd get very far...
