The instructions that come with the reg. stickers say that the machine & sticker should be warmed to adhere properly. I heated it up with a propane torpedo heater in my garage but on the road I am not sure if you'll need a propane torch or something to warm it up ??????

Here's a list of places where they can be purchased. N.H. OHRV Agents - N.H. Fish and Game

Troy Arctic Cat opens at 8AM. That's probably the closest one but maybe somebody else has a better idea. If you can find a convenience store maybe you could get it done a little earlier...

Since the parking area specified for this group ride is "fire pond" can somebody pinpoint that on a google map or something ?

I was searching for info on parking areas in the club's website and couldn't find anything about fire pond parking. I did find this however...

This convinced me to buy a membership. If this place is as nice as you guys say we need to keep it going !

Wheeled OHRV membership - $25
additional donation - $25
handling charge - $4

Grand total - $54

Having a cool place to ride - PRICELESS
Have not joined yet- but it's on the top 3 things for me to do this month-

don't let'em make you think they are helpless though- they should qualify for state funding- The money for the reg has to go smoewhere

Yes that's probably true. I wonder how it's decided which club gets how much money though... Maybe more members=more $$$ ?

That- and plus I'm sure there's a hundred members within a 20 mile radius that own tractors and heavy equipment who would be willing to do a little work for the club...

What are the other two? Flipping the Rene and re-growing your eyebrows?

Actually the funding they receive is based on the number of registrations they get. So whatever helps. But it is a difficult club to belong to. I joined last Septemebr and inquired about meetings/and work crews a couple times and have never been able to get anyone to return my requests. So I just sent them some extra money, I assume they got that cuause it never came back. But I have also seen another member out on the trails and he had no interest in speaking to me. Not sure if they are extremely unorganized, or just don't like out of towners.

Flipping the Rene and re-growing your eyebrows? Hahahahaahhahahhaaa! VF

Some of the groups do tend to be kind of stand off-ish. I belong to SCATV (Sullivan County ATV) and what helped me get to know the group a little better was taking part in bridge building and other projects. I think they get tired of people who send in dues and don't ever come out when there is trail work needing to be done. I know a lot of the officers in the ATV groups get burned out over time.
