Where to park/ride in NJ, Pine Barrens?
#11
The only legal place to ride in Jersey is the NJORV, and my personal opinion is that it is crap. The quad race track is flat and small and the trails are not well groomed. Its not worth the $100. These other places I speek of are not legal, but most of the time you don't get hastled.

I keep seeing postings about riding at Clayton Sandpit and Manchester in NJ. Can someone give me some info on where it is /how to get there from the TPKE or Parkway. I have gone down to Tuckahoe/Port Elizabeth many times and have to say it is an AWESOME riding area, we have seen cops a couple times but they didn't pay any mind to us. It is privately owned so I don't think the park rangers will be around unless you wander over to the park that borders the one part of it.

Free is always better. I gotta hit the Clayton Sand Pits. It must be really good.
However, need the info. The only Jackson I see on the map is not too far from Berlin. Is it that the right Jackson or is it somewhere else. What's the main road that it is off of. Help. You got me fired up but I need a little direction.

I ride at Clayton every Sunday on a warm day there can be a couple hundred quads there. I don't know the name of all the roads to get to the parking area, this area is in the woods so you will not be bothered by the cops. This weekend I write down all the road names and post it, this place is awsome!! While riding you think your at Glamis. Paddle tires is highly recomended, don't even attempt some of the hill climbs without them. There is some good open fast riding too not just all hill climbs.
