Ok. This might be a dumb question but.....
I just bought my kids (2) LT80s with no titles. I got a 2005 sportsman 700EFI with an out of state title (basically farm use only-bought from a friend). Can you ride these off of private property at known ATV trails without getting in trouble? I want to take my kids somewhere to ride but am afraid of getting fined.
With that said.... Does anyone know a place to ride near Pittsburgh, PA?

Yes most all state require a permit or plates of some sort to ride on Forest/State land. Check with your local bike shop for more detail on your areas rules and regs!

Agree, you need to check your state laws. Some states have an additional fee for riding in state/federal/contract lands.

OK has reciprocal recognition with most other states that have ATV registration so I don't have to get the ATVs tagged everyplace we go...but I do it anyway because the other states we go to put that money back into their ATV program (trail maintenance, education, &c).

Cool

If you can ride fast enough...you don't ever have to get plates or reg.

betcha can't outrun their radio!
but seriously, in Texas we got a public lands OHV sticker AND for public lands you have to have an ATV Safety Course Certificate (wallet sized of course). then depends on where you go if it costs extra or not to ride. most of the time it's not extra.....
