coral pink southern utah....

I was there is May (memorial day). The days were warm but the nights were still cold. We slept in a tent, if you have a camper then its not an issue. There were a lot of rangers and BLM officers around. There was strict fire regultions. We had to take our own fire pit, and the rangers came by regularly and checked us out. We camped out of the park on yellow jacket road. I believe that if you camp in the park there is designated camp sites and showers. The dunes aren't bad. Not a very big area to ride in. Its cool because your riding in pink sand and pine tress around you, in some of the areas. If you haven't been and you live in Las Vegas its well worth the trip. Check out the BLM web site or a search or Coral Pink.
