Just moved to DC from Ohio...BIG change especially in riding areas nearby. I had a good stockpile of areas at home but here I'm at a loss. Anybody know of anything good near DC, Northern VA, Maryland. I've been to Hatfield/McCoy many times and plan to go back. Also have heard theres some good areas in PA. Basically I'm looking for an area that is big enough for a weekends worth of riding. Thanks

 

Theres a few places out in west virginia I hear besides hatfield mcoy. Take 270 out to frederick theres a few spots. Southern jersey and tower city p.a. is decent to. Currently around baltimore so I know were your coming from ,there isnt much around montgomery county, pg county,northern virginia and dc area as for riding spots.

There are alot of yuppies,scumbags and crooked politicians tho. You'll have to hit up the bars in georgetown one day thats about the only thing dc has going for it.


There are forums for riding spots around your area, i think. Do some searching! If you cant find it I'll try to find the right link and post it up... Good luck

 

thanks for the advice...i'll see if I can find some forums. I came from having about 100 acres of private property with woods and trails to the damn city (gotta go when a job comes your way) but i'm struggling now that its riding season.
