Royal Blue trails ?'s and insight
#1
We are looking to head down to Tenn to do some riding. Thinking about Royal Blue...anybody have any insight on the trails and type of riding? We did Hatfield McCoy last year, is it similar? Also have done Black Mountain in KY...

A buddy and I went to Tenn to go ride a few years ago...4 or 5 I think. We rode at land between the lakes, and of course the Coal Creek area outside of Knoxville. They were great! Then we made the trip over to Royal Blue, but not only was it extememly poorly marked, there is (was) an out of state rider fee that was double or triple the amount for a resident rider fee. (which is total bullsh!t) We ended up driving back to Coal Creek and spending our money there where they didn't discriminate.
No idea what the riding is like, and I hope they changed both the poor markings and the screw the out-of-staters issues.
