I went to the towns creek trail in greensboro this weekend. one major problem was the mud (one major reason to go for you mudders!) another was i got a flat halfway around the trail(which is like 9-12 miles i think) anyway me and my buddy jumped off the trail and took a dirtroad back to the trailhead where we parked. when we got their Mr. forest ranger was sitting there with his ticketbook. we got 2 $25 tickets for "cutting the trail" and from what i understand he sent home about 15-20 riders that day for riding on the dirt road with a $100 ticket for"operating an offroad vehicle on a state owned road". he said he would give us a break b/c i had a flat. just wanted to let you guys know. 2hr ride to the trail and i got to ride 30minutes and had to pay out $30 not counting gas and a new tire. pretty crappy day if you ask me!
