cochranton info

i have a question for you guys that have been to cochranton. i was wonderind if i should carry gas with me or is it just easier to get it on the trail? im tinkin its going to be a muddy mess and a can will get in the way. thanks for replys. i cant wait!!!!

I bought gas on the trail last year. It's a lot easier. But Beware! Alot of locals set up "fueling stations" in their driveway's and charge upwards of 4.00 per gallon. But if you wait it out, the third checkpoint is usually a sponsored checkpoint with a tanker of fuel, and reasonable rates.
(Don't worry, it's a real good crowd, if you run out, someone will help you out, either by towing you to fill station or just giving you gas!)
