Does anyone have info on a fairly new park just south of Bloomington? I read something about it a few months ago, thought I might check it out if I can get some info on it. Thanks. Jim

It looks like a good place. Some buddies from work and I am planning a trip over there later in the spring. You can check you the website for it at www.abateofindiana.org.

I have been there quite a bit but it isnt worth $15 per day!! It is a nice park though but if you have been to Haspin Acres or the Badlands in attica you will know what I am talking about. Trails are real tight but they are still working on a better trail system and they are going to have a hare scramble May 13 I believe is the date. Real nice people work there and ride there.

I grew up riding at Haspins, and I am no "rebel" or anything, but I am so used to the way pretty much anything goes at Haspins... all these rules they state just seem too strict.
At Haspins we ride all night long, and since we camp there we ALWAYS make sure that we have beer for when the riding is over for the night. We are resposible, but just the fact that you can go anywhere and don't have all the rules makes for a more relaxing weekend.
Don't get me wrong... I am not knocking the place, but for more money than Haspins, and more rules... I think I will pass. Not to mention that all my freinds still live near Haspins, so it is the ideal meeting place.

Yeah Haspins is in Laural, which is maybe 20 minutes south of Connersville on State Rd. 121. Once you hit Laurel, listen for screaming 2-stroke and buggies and you have found it.
A bunch of people from Connersville and I are riding there Memorial Day Weekend, come and check it out.
