Just got back from a ride at CC yesterday. Rain in the morning kept the dust down for a while, but got pretty bad as the day went on. Parts of the trails were smooth, some rutted pretty good, some low areas. I guess I would say that there was a pretty good variety, so it made it pretty fun. We parked at Wildrock Park and went south from there to the end of the CC trail by Russell Co. Park. We ate lunch at the bar/grill at the end of the trail (good food) and filled the tanks at the gas station across the street. Then headed back north. When we got back to Wildrock my brother, who was riding a no suspension Honda 185s, was having a near death experience so we decided we would load up and head for home. We never made it up to Rock Dam but would assume the trails are pretty decent up that way, the people we talked to said that the roughest stuff was south of 10.
I saw the "PLAY AREAS" that were talked about in the BRF thread, they should put up "no atv" signs if they want more people to stay out, there looked to be not a square inch of ground that didn't have a track on it. They just look like scramble areas to compliment the trails as they are so accessible.
Other than my brother being in great pain from no suspension, no injuries. We had a great time and will go back again.

 

exer, glad to hear the update. My experience has been that the trail up to Rock Dam Lake was a very nice trail. There is a stretch of trail that is pretty much water holes year round due to a spring that feeds into the trail.

I hope to get out that way or BRF one day. I plan on taking a day off of work and taking my three sons with me so that they can utilize the trails for the first time without other traffic.
