It may not help us ATV guys right now but a new MX track is opening up this weekend in Orange County CA. The don't say on the web page if they will allow 3 and 4Wheelers but maybe there is a chance in the future. Check it out.

Woodo,
What we need are more message posts to the "saddlebackmx.com" web site in favor of big and Pee Wee quads. As long as we keep civil and let the "mx only" babies cry, we will look great.
The status of the track is still up in the air. They do not have the conditional use permits and no approval from the Army Corps of Engineers. They also need to deal with the Blue Line maps. As it stands, they got permission from the water district for a trial deal. That sounds like three or four days and that is all.
I have asked many times if ATV's will be invited but I have not received a response.

If they don't allow atv's I hope the tree huggers find an endangered weed on the property.
The way I understand it they are only open for testing. They don not have a conditional use permit, clearance from the Army Corps of Engineers or conforming Blue Line Map use clearance. All they got was clearance from the Irvine Water District to modify the dirt below the high water line for the lake.

I went down to the track Saturday morning. It was busy!!!!! The tracks look nice but with the number of MX riders they had they could not even think of letting ATV's on. I think they are getting alot of parents asking for quads on the kids track. That could be the begging for opening up the tracks to bigger quads.

Woodo,
I agree, we have had a number of people ask about pee wee atv's and the track indicated that they were either planning on offering track time or adding a small pee wee track. Either way, I will take it.
We must continue asking and offering help. Brian Fry at AC Racing was key to getting the pee wee's on Perris, I hope he has the power to help with Saddleback.
