Hey Chuck, Bill and the gang,
I'm not ignoring you, I've just been very busy.
If you guys want to come up and ride, lets get it together. I have the first 3 weekends in October open with none or very few hunters. Michigan Out of Doors TV will be coming in on the 28th to tape a TV show. That would also be a good weekend to show what we want to do in the ATV business. Sept. 28 that is.
Chippewa County has now passed the law and they have emailed a copy of it, but I have not been able to open it at this time. My computer crashed and I have been lost for 3 weeks. So has Gail and Brian. No payroll.
If you guys want to ride, let me know. I will send out a letter (if the mail is working).
Happy riding.

Rich,
we had a membership meeting last Thursday the 13th and your name was brought up.Some of the members had asked if we had any info on our upcoming fall ride for the U.P?
Currently,
we are waiting on the arrival of a brand new, limited edition Silver color 660 Grizz to arrive for a very important member. After he gets the new Grizz and has rode it a SHORT while,we all intend to set a date for the fall ride in the U.P.[we dont want to do this to late]He has requested that we dont take this ride without him.So as soon as the new Grizz arrives, you will be hearing from us.
Thank You,and we look forward to meeting again,
Bill

I lived in sterling heights most of my life. Nice place to live. If you visit their web site they'll tell you they have one of the lowest crime rates in the country. There is housing to accomodate all budgets too. Plenty of cool places to ride here too. Madison heights is a bit older, there are nice areas, but it's a little lower in "socioeconomic status" than sterling heights. For the same budget there are other cities more desireable than madison heights in my opinion. I'm trying to be as judicious in my comments as possible, but if anyone wants to flame me, let's go.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Who is this ever so secret member. I hope it's Chuck. That poor man has taken a real beating on that QQ.
Pick the day. I go to Quebec on the 20th and return on the 28th. If they let me across the border. Being 1/2 Lebanese and carrying 2 hunting rifles will not help my cause.
Let me know when and how many people want to ride?

code54, jefffoxsr said it well, median home is around $140,000+ in sterling heights and $110,000+ mad whites, lol, might as well get use to the lingo. I personally don't like the row home look, growing up in sub just like that myself (clinton twp). I now live in Southfield's forgotten sub between 13 mile and 12.5 mile just west of Greenfield, has may variety homes ranging between $200,000 to $100,000 (mine) lol,(wait???) no sidewalks, street lights or curbing just room between homes to have bon fire in backyard (did sat) test bike and quad before trips in a couple open lots (gotta like a sub like that) and has Birmingham schools to boot. No place like that in sterling hgt's or m.h. You could look just west of st. hgt's (oakland county) TROY , between 14 mile and 15 mile (street names are states) this is another forgotten sub with many rewards, (plus Labaron's sports is right by for your quadding goods),some property (older lots 150 x 300), room to ride if neighbors are cool like mine) $125,000+ ave. GOOD LUCK and happy home hunting. If you like city charm Royal Oak would be the place $150,000 (people on the other hand, ALL TYPES, trust me !!!!)
when you get settled and want to ride call me, I go very often, somewhere !!!!
oh ya, Bill could have used a little help sunday, too bad you where already gone !!! found a BIG hole that ATE my quad, mud was above MY WAIST when I got off to help walk'er thru, son was rofl,

jeff, the only place I know close to me that is worth going is on baldwin road, north of great lakes crossing (acrossed from the catalina bar) nice mx track (doubles), then there is Selfridge ANG, just 1/4 mile north of 21 mile on jefferson (rosso hwy exit)20 acres ridable, 30 acres mud bog (truly a nightmare) trucks with 44's in there tearing up the place, then there's my homemade track 20 acres, plus 5 acres marsh (hehehe)just south of 29 mile on gratiot next to new dump. (abandoned house) also cost me $150.00 to get my F-150 4x4 out during the spring - thanks to a 78 chevy (BIG RED) even he almost got stuck with 38's (very wet and soft). I've only been back once since, couldn't get all the way back thanks to his trenches. Too bad the first to spots been hit by police this year so i've been reluctant to go back. Hooked up with a guy just SE of metro airport. homemade trails - not a whole lot but something... while LOOKING for NEW areas to ride i found a awesome track on wixom road just south of 15 mile (mx track in someones backyard. I seen it up close if has stands , banners, double jumps, high bank turns, this place looks like the cat's meow !!!! I need to go back and see when they run ???

This is the first time I've been here since the Tuesday mishap. I've had so many bad feelings, I didn't want to get on here and say the wrong thing. Starting to come to grips with it all.
Rich, I never take serious, the quips you guys say about my King Quad. She runs with the best of 'em and past most Polaris'. You know that for a fact! How is that brand new, run down 500 of yours? No, I'm not planning on a new quad as yet. Don't need one...
Scott, it's nice to see you here again, how's the kids? Keep 'em ridin'. Bill's been chumpin' at the bit to get back to the U.P. I'm not sure I can make it at this time. I'm lookin' for some retirement papers to come my way and I have to watch the bucks ($$$) for awhile. You have to give me a senior discount, Rich!
Hey! While I'm at it, there's a lot of people from the Poker Run that I'd like to say hi to: Don and Audrey, of Wisconsin. Tim Ketchem, the guys in Indiana, and all the Michigan connection. Oh, Gale and Brian too... Be safe everyone...

DAMN,
That Chuck has me confused again? He writes,
''I never take serious, the quips you guys say about my King Quad, she runs with the best of them, even past most Polaris.
Chuck,
the ONLY time I 've EVER seen Queenie[King Quad] run past ANY quad,is when they're PARKED.So ease up on the BS of running past most Polaris.I feel so bad about the other ATVs blowing by you that I thought MAYBE I might bring my twin cyclinder Cub Cadet to our next ATV outing, and dont worry,I promise to give you a head start this time.[lol]
