You guys just get a fine for riding public land? I got caught riding in MD a few weeks ago. I got off with a warning but the park ranger that caught me said that it was a criminal offense. What do the fines usually run down there?

I was wondering what the trails were like at the Cove. I have been going to Taskers Gap for years, however, I haven't been to the Cove yet. Are the two places similar or is one place better than the other, etc. Any advice/thoughts you have would be appreciated.

I live in Gainesville, VA (right of I-66) so both places are fairly close. I am always looking for new places to ride.

What dates is the cove open for riding. I've tried calling there phone but no one ever answers, and their site says to call ahead before heading out there. I live in Burke, VA and am also looking new places to ride. So how was your guys ride at the cove?

 

The ride at the Cove was great. Everything was frozen so not much mud but some good trails. If you call the cove to ride you need to leave a message. They will return your call.
