There is a riding area with what your looking for in Trimont. The ride area is actually about 7-8 miles to the west of town on 10th ave. or 10th st. I can't remember which is running north and south out there. It has a good size scramble area with some good jumps for a sport machine. It may be worth your while to check it out. There is also an area in Rennville County. Not sure where exactly this is, I've never been there. But I do believe my clubs website has it listed in "where to ride". Look into www.Dirtriders.org . Hope this helps.

biggy, Trimont is about 1 1/2 hours from me. For you, it's just as close as the Red Top trail. I go through Jordan every day on my way home from work and have noticed a small track with some jumps off to the right side towards the river. Is that the place your talking about? I see wheelers all the time in the ditch along 169. If your interested in the Red Top ride that I've been posting about, e-mail me at Lone_eagle7mm@hotmail.com and maybe we can work something out as far as car pooling up there.

lep yes that area with the jumps is my land ... this year it went kinda crazy .. the local yamaha dealer was telling people to ride there ...the local farmers were complaning of land damage due to carless riders ....if you ride there tread lightly please.....

as far as the red top ride ....Ive been to the red top and it's not my style of riding to straight ..and the need of 4+4

have you ever been to danbury wis ? same distance as red top with great trails to ride on ... if you ever do go to danbury go with someone who has been there ....many many hidden trails that are a blast

well any way as of now both my quads are dismantled for racing season .....stop down some time and say hi !!

biggy,

thanks for the invite. I'll be sure to respect the land if I would make it up there. Where does the trail up the ditch along 169 lead to? I have a Vinson so it's not too good for the jumps you have. Is there much of a problem for people riding in that area? I heard that there were some issues with property owners on the other side of the road so I've been hesitant to ride there. Kind of nice that it's only 20 minutes away though.

I'm not much of a drinker and I don't smoke so I usually don't frequent the bar or the mill too often. Figured my money is better off spent on riding and gas to get there.

Where do you get on the trail in Danbury? I've heard of it many times but I don't know how to get to it... do you know if it is open in the winter??

Thanks
