We have about 6-8 quads and one dirtbike already but we are throwing the invitation out to everyone else. We are planning a trip to Gilmer TX on March 23 if anyone is interested. We are going to meet around 7:30 or 8:00 am and head that way if you are interested either respond to this post or private e-mail me.

Be sure and bring helments and no double riding. They won't let you ride if you don't abide by the rules. Let me know what vehicles yoy will be in and I will try to make it. I live close to the place.

Gilmer is North of Tyler on Hwy 155. Follow 155 from Tyler to Big Sandy then to Gilmer. It is a riding area called Barnwell Mountain and it is really good. Around 2000 acreas of riding. Look up Barnwell Mountain on the net. Long drive for you. Look at High Lifters website I heard they listed a lot of riding areas.

Be extremly careful there. some of those hills are downright dangerous. If you are a novice of any type, i recommend that this place be by-passed. I also recommend (other than the rules) knee, elbow, chest, motocross style boots and 4 wheel drive (not alot of mud) for those hills. these hills consists of steep angles with ledges or drop-offs if your going down them. the trails will be marked for differant levels of experience. but the easy ones can be challenging also. Again be careful and ride safe.

I am leaving Frisco at about 8 am. I should be in Muenster around 9:30. I am driving a dk Blue 2002 Dodge Ram Quad cab with a trailer. I will have my Blaster and my 300 fourtrax.
