Uwharrie Clean up

Just finished talking to the District Ranger for Uwharrie National Forrest. They had major damage from the snow storm that came through last month.
They are tenatively going to clean up March 18th or 25th. To run a chainsaw you must be certified by them. And from what I have been told there are many trees down.
For those of us in North Carolina that use the Uwharrie Trails this would be a great time to make ourselves look a little better. He may kill me for putting this out but if anyone would like to help you can do what I did and call the office at 910-576-6391. This is not an oppertunity to ride, this is a chance to give ourselves a little better image and a place to ride when the Trials open April 1st. That is if we get it cleaned up.
I will keep those interested posted if anything changes.
