Timberline trail
#1
If you are thinking of going to the Timberline/Marienville trail while it's warm, you might want to call to check to make sure it open. I heard if it stays warm then they might close it early due to the errosion. I went there last week & in a couple of places on "C" trail, I'm sure a 2wd would not have made it through it was REALLY deeply rutted & deep mud. I almost got stuck in 4wd on my Scrambler. It's also very challenging just to try & do the Timberline loop which took about 5 hrs of riding & allot of gas. It was just so muddy & a little ice was left in a few spots but 90% had melted & left allot of mud. Just call before you go if it's warm out.
