Sounds like you had a great time, love to see some pictures. Lets plan a ride together when it cools up a little.

Hey YZguy...

I was just wondering what you got up to kennedy medows in? I have a 1-ton crew cab Ford 4x4 (long bed) and a 26' Weekend Warrior pull trailer. Will I make it up there using 9-mile road...or is this set up just too long!?!?

Thanks in advance...

You see lots of big rigs in there, including big trailers and motorhomes. Just take it slow and easy. I like to travel light, but that is just my personal preference. The worst part is the long downhill coming out, where it is easy to fry your brakes. You are at a big advantage if you have a manual transmission.

I would call before going!!! In the newspaper, they said the Kern Plateau had been closed because of the fire. I think the fire is out, but you might want to check just in case. I hope none of the riding areas burned????
