i rode at ebo alot 5 or 6 years ago. it was a great place to ride. we just drove out on the sand flats unloaded and rode. i was just wandering if anyone still rides out there. or is it all shut down with fences and signs . we also used to ride at leadwood near potosi but i heard they will not let you ride there anymore.

thanks for any info

Sorry but Ebo is closed has been for a while now, somebody actually purchased it about a month ago for some kind of guided hunting ground, but you can still get into the sand but if you get caught in there it is a $500 fine

If you are willing to drive farther I think they allow riding on Ft. Leonard Wood. I live about 10 miles from the Chadwick area and I'm surrounded by the Mark Twain forest. If you haven't ever road at Chadwick or in Mark Twain you might come down some weekend and give it a shot.

Zookyridr, I am planning a trip to Chadwick this summer. I have a friend that lives just south of Springfield and he goes there often. He has been trying for 3 years to get me to come down. After a mag wrote an article about it last year, I got real interested. I am not yet sure of when I am going, but maybe we will meet up. What's the regulations there?

Advance HUH? LOL I was born and raised in Dexter. The only regs are you need to stop at the Oldfield Outpost or's Kay's store and pick up a tag for 5.00. I buy mine for the whole year for 35.00. I've actually seen people riding down there without helmets. They are nuckin futts. To many steep hills to fall off of not to mention rock ledges. It's a great place to ride if you like technical trails. There is also another riding spot called Sutton's Bluff inbetween Poplar Bluff and Van Buren that the same yearly sticker for Chadwick will work for. I haven't ridden there yet. Look me up when you come out. I only live 10 miles from Chadwick and my 32 acres is backed up by Mark Twain Forest. FTZ is a short trip for you huh. LOL That YZ490 rig sounds like a blast.
