Monday creek OHV area, Perry St. forest

nyone familiar with these area in Ohio. I just read a little about it in the dirt wheels.

They are all great places places to ride, more trail like riding with difficult spots, but most can be negotiated around if it looks to scary. Pick up a permit at a local store in one of the towns surrounding the riding area. I know Ohio residents need to have thier ATV registered, but I'm not sure about out of towners so check the laws.

Being that you are from MI, I wouldn't bother with Perry (IMHO). It's nice for us "locals", but not worth it for the drive you'd have.
Now Wayne Nat'l forest on the other is WONDERFUL. The Monday Creek area is part of the Athens dist. of WNF.

thanks for the info, I will look into the WNF area. I have a week off july 27th through AUG 3rd. currently im trying to pick a place to go.

Wayne National Forest is the place you want to go. I live near Toledo and it takes me about 4 hours to get there. So add another hour from Toledo to Ypsi and you are there. The terrain is very different than in Michigan. The trails offer a mix of riding terrains. Typically some hill climbs and some mud with a lot of great trail riding mixed in. We are going down this weekend for big ride and picnic. Always a blast.
